Mark Manley Trucking, also known as "MMT" started in the 2000's, but the history of the Manley name in trucking started in the 1960's when Mark's dad, Don Manley moved to Sacramento and established Don Manley Trucking. Don was a pioneer trucker, paving the way and setting standards for the trucking industry. Don had 2 sons, Tim & Mark, and they were both brought up in the trucking business with “old school” work ethics.
Mark loved trucking with his dad, he couldn't wait for summertime when he could go to work every day. On the weekends he would grease and wash trucks, help with repairs, get tools, etc. Then, at age 16 he was driving trucks under the guidance of his Dad. In the 1990’s, now Don Manley & Sons Trucking, Mark was shop foreman, managing dirt jobs, tank pulls, and truck boss.
In the 2000's Mark started MMT. Bought a truck and a few trailers, hired pullers and managed business from the seat of his Peterbilt. He drove a truck for 44 years before getting out of the seat in 2019.
Mark's knowledge of the Sacramento region and trucking experience has gained us a vast knowledge and network of colleagues within the trucking and construction industry. Mark Manley trucking is growing and continues to build great relationships with customers and companies all over California.
